夏休みが終わります。 The end of summer vacation for children

長かったようで、子供たちには短かった夏休みがおわります。去年の夏休みは子供たちにはハードスケジュールでした。演劇のワークショップ、障碍者、老人施設での音楽ボランティアのお手伝い、パントマイムのワークショップ、私の職場の夏祭りの音楽演奏、所属劇団のレッスンと盛りだくさん。「普通の夏休みがしたかった」とぼやいていました。その結果「自由研究」も出せずに終わったのでした。今年はゆっくりと思っていたのですが「まつりみなみ」の出演を受けたため、なにもなしというわけにはいかなかったのですが、海峡花火大会、九州国立博物館にも行けて、宿題、自由研究も一通り消化できました。自由研究は毎年親の方が頭を痛めます。毎年理科作品展、木工作品展を見に行くと「親の能力、技術の競い合い」という印象はぬぐえません。私自身の小学校時代は自分で楽しんで作っていたこともあり、親頼みということは一切ありませんでした。　　さあ、明日から早起きです。

Today is the last day of summer vacation for children. The last year's summer vacation　were hard times for our children. Because there were many things they had to do like work shop of theater, volunteer helper for musical activity for handicaped people and aged people,work shop of pantomime,playing music at my working place,lessen of dramatic campany. They said "We want more easy feeling vacation" So they couldn't do free home work. This summer, we had to play at "MATURI MINAMI carnival", but we could watch "Kaikyou fire works" go to Kyushu national museum. Our children　have finished all thier routine home work and free home work. By next morning we have to get up early.
